Marilyn Monroe

The myth, the woman

Marilyn Monroe was a legend in her own lifetime. She was a bombshell, an icon of sexuality, and the ultimate Hollywood starlet. Her life is often romanticized and mythologized as a storybook romance filled with tragedy, but in reality she was just another woman who had to deal with heartache and loss like all of us do at some point in our lives. She still made it through alive though!

Nobody is perfect. We all have flaws, worries, and insecurities. But we also have strengths that help us overcome our troubles and obstacles. There is no shame in being human. The best thing about being human is that we can admit our shortcomings and work on improving ourselves as people!

I know this sounds like a lame cop out but I think it’s important to remember when you feel like your life sucks or you think something bad might happen to you: nobody is perfect. Even if your life isn’t going exactly how you want it right now—even if things are falling apart around you—stop worrying because at the end of the day no matter what happens nothing will ever compare to how much worse someone else could be having it right now too!

Marilyn Monroe was a woman who craved love and affection. She wanted to be loved, she wanted to be wanted, she wanted to be appreciated for her talents and beauty and intelligence. But what she didn’t know is that these qualities were never enough in Hollywood—no matter how hard she tried, Marilyn would always fall short of being beautiful enough in the eyes of those around her.

Married to Joe DiMaggio, Arthur Miller and Arthur P. Jacobs, Monroe had affairs with both men and women. She was bisexual, but not a lesbian. She slept with people she worked with because she didn’t feel like she could get married or have the normal life that society expected of her.

Marilyn Monroe is a pioneer of women’s rights. She was an independent woman who managed to break out of the typical female roles society had set up for her and become a strong, successful actress. Marilyn made it clear that she would be whoever she wanted to be, regardless of what others thought. Her confidence helped inspire young girls and women everywhere; especially those in Hollywood who were trying to make it big in their own industry. Her drive for success inspired many women who wanted to have it all—a husband, children, money and fame—and helped them realize that they didn’t need anyone else’s permission or blessing in order make their own happy ending happen.

Marilyn Monroe was a strong woman who knew how to make herself happy, regardless of her circumstances. She was not afraid to be herself, and she inspired many women who wanted to be like her. She knew what it meant for a woman to be successful in show business and understood how difficult it could be for those who were trying their best to succeed in this field.

She always cared about others and was not afraid of being alone since she knew that if you tried hard enough, you would eventually find happiness on your own terms.

In 2012, she was ranked no. 6 on Forbes’ list of Top-Earning Dead Celebrities.

She earned $26 million in 1955 and $27 million in 1956 and $30 million in 1957. She was listed as one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century by Time Magazine’s 100 Most Important People of the Century. She has appeared on more than 500 magazine covers worldwide, making her one of the most photographed personalities ever. In 1997, Monroe was named as one of America’s best-loved movie stars by Gallup via OpraMail.[4] In 1999, at age 49 on the American Film Institute’s AFI’s 100 Years…100 Stars list had been selected for its popularity,[5] being placed at 17th position among 25 actresses on that list.[6][7] Thereafter it climbed to 14th place among 25 actresses.[8][9] The following year it moved up again to 12th place among 25 actresses.[10][11]

Marilyn Monroe, the myth, the woman. The world would not have been the same without her impact!

She was a great actress. Her performance in Some Like It Hot is one of my favorite movies of all time. She really did an excellent job at portraying Daphne as a man who was pretending to be a woman because he had run away from gangsters and wanted to escape them for good. If you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it right now!

She was also a great singer! She sang The Girl Next Door and That Old Black Magic with such passion that I could feel chills running down my spine when I heard those songs for the first time (and every other time). If you haven’t heard these two songs yet, listen here: [link].

Marilyn Monroe’s beauty made her famous—and rightly so! People across America loved looking at her gorgeous face on magazine covers everywhere they went; this included me too because she always looked so pretty even when she wasn’t wearing any makeup or fancy clothes like most models do today during photo shoots."

Today, Marilyn Monroe remains an icon, with her influence and legacy reaching far beyond that of most other celebrities. Her death at such a young age has only amplified her fame; many films and biographies have been dedicated to her life, as well as songs and poems written about her. Her image continues to be used in advertising campaigns for products ranging from perfume to lingerie. While some people may find it hard to believe that someone so famous could have had so much impact on the world we live in today, one thing remains clear: without Marilyn Monroe there would not be any women like Beyonce or Gaga today!
